Where will the course be held and what is the course timetable?
Our open courses are normally held in hotels or conference centres located within the central business district of the city named. Full details are supplied upon receipt of the course booking and payment. The four day course starts at 9:00 and ends at 5:30 each day except on the final day when we will end at 3:30 to allow those with a distance to travel to make an early start by road or get to the airport for early evening flights.
How will certification assist me in my current employment?
Our business change professional qualifications are accredited and full details are available as a section under “Qualification Structure”. Certification is registered with Edexcel and is therefore a recognised qualification which will assist you greatly within your employment or when seeking future employment.
What does the course fee cover?
The fee covers all tuition and course materials provided by BPTGroup for the course – refreshments during the course and a working style lunch. You will be responsible for all other payments - personal accommodation, travel arrangements and your dinners.
Can I become certified without attending the workshops?
You will need to attend the 4 day training course as part of the process to full certification. Expierienced process consultants, business analysts, internal consultants can apply for certification on the Accredited Prior Learning principle. See APL section under 'Qualification Structure'.
Will I be expected to complete a test or exam at the end of the course?
There are no tests or examinations at the end of our training course. Your understanding and ability will be judged during the group tasks assigned during the course and, if you undertake it, in the post-course process project, for which we provide full guidance and assessment and which leads to BPTGroup certification.
What does the post-course assignment work entail and how long will it take?
The post-course submissions will either be specific projects you have been working on in this field or portfolios of evidence drawn from your previous experience. All of this is detailed under the “Accreditation” section.
How long do we have after completing the 4 day course to submit the post-course work?
Submissions should be received within 6 months of completing the course but we understand that some delegates find it difficult to source a suitable project immediately after course completion. For that reason we always endeavour to be flexible if your efforts are subject to delays.
Do you have representatives in other countries?
Yes. We are building partnerships with organisations who share our objectives in America, Canada, Australia, South Africa, Croatia, Saudi Arabia and Portugal.
Are the courses conducted in English?
Yes – currently all our courses are in English but we are actively training our partner’s staff to deliver BPTGroup accredited and introductory courses. Once trained, they can use our manuals but deliver in their own languages; in some cases they are translating the manual into their language.
What qualifications or experience do I require before attending this course?
You do not need to have any qualifications or prior process experience to attend on of our workshops. Business and organisational experience is a distinct advantage to relate to the issues dealt with on the course but the main requirement is a keen interest to learn and a willingness to participate in the case study and group work.
